Information / Wholesale Service
Who can become a wholesale customer?
Anybody who has their own business can become a wholesale customer, from party planners to shops, we accommodate all businesses large or small.
What is the difference between wholesale and drop shipping?
As a wholesale acount holder, your orders are shipped directly to you. You will deal with the logistics of warehousing stock and fulfilling your own customer’s orders direct.
Drop shipping account holders process their customers’ orders through a separate website, 1on1dropship.co.uk. This site requires a different username and password than used for 1on1wholesale.co.uk.
For drop ship orders, we charge a handling fee of 10% plus a shipping charge. The goods are sent from us direct to your customer (click here for more info about drop shipping).
How do I become a wholesale customer?
You can do this by filling out our online registration form on 1on1wholesale.co.uk.
How do I place an order?
Once your wholesale account has been approved simply login and place your order online at 1on1wholesale.co.uk. Ordering online is quick and efficient and means that you can check stock availability in real time.
How much do I have to order?
Each order has to total over £100 excluding P+P, discount and VAT. We are happy to review this once you have become an established customer.
How do I get a DISCOUNT on my purchase?
We operate a spend and save discount system. The more you spend the bigger your discount. Yes it is that simple. For every £100 you add to your basket you will receive an extra 1% discount. Adding more items will increase this discount, up to a generous maximum of 20% for orders over £2,000 or more.
Which payment methods do you accept?
The easiest way to pay for your orders is with a credit card using our fast and secure payment processor. Payment for UK based customers can be made online using all major credit and debit cards, except Diners Club and American Express.
Overseas customers wishing to pay with a credit card need to provide the following by email attachment, fax, or post:
- A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport, or other acceptable photo ID
- A copy of both sides of your credit card
- A signed letter to authorise Net1on1 Ltd to charge this card for your orders
We realise that this is an inconvenience, but these precautions protect both us and you against card fraud.
Please see our Payment Information page for details of which other payment methods are accepted, and how long these usually take to clear so that your order may be despatched.
How soon are orders packed and despatched?
All orders completed before 3pm UK time Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day, guaranteed. If your order is placed outside of working hours it will be shipped the next working day.
Do you offer next day delivery?
Delivery the next working day is standard for UK mainland addresses*, as long as your order is received before 3pm (orders received on Friday will be delivered the following Monday). However, Saturday deliveries can be arranged. To request a Saturday delivery please contact Danielle.
What are your packing charges?
UK packing charges are 5% of the total order value or £10 whichever is the greater. UK orders over £500 will receive FREE next day delivery.
I do not live in the UK – can I still be a wholesale customer?
Yes, but packing charges and delivery times differ for overseas accounts, and we cannot offer free delivery for large orders.
Our packing rate for overseas customers is dependent upon your location, and is set as a percentage of the order value; this percentage rate is fixed on your account. However, due to all carriers setting base rates for shipping, larger orders will incur only small increases in charges.
Therefore, for larger orders, you can check the 'Collect from Warehouse' option during the checkout process. This will mark the order as carriage free but we will calculate the shipping charges and contact you for payment.
Alternatively, you may arrange collection via your preferred carrier. Again, check the 'Collect from Warehouse' option during the checkout process and when your order has been packed, we will inform you of the sizes and weights so that you can let your carrier know.
If you are based in the European Union and are EU VAT registered, please let us have your VAT number.
For exports outside the European Union, we are obliged to identify the tariff codes for each class of product so that the correct duties are charged and paid. You may also require an import licence for the goods, which you would have to obtain locally.
*2 working days for certain AB, DD, FK, TD, PH postcodes, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and the Isles of Scilly.
